Sometimes when one repeats a word over and over, like carrot, the word starts to make less and less sense. If one writes the word down over and over, the spelling starts to make even less sense. One starts to ask, “Is that even a word? It doesn’t look right. It doesn’t make sense.”
Although they might have said or spelled carrot a million times, it’s the repetition that can sometimes cause doubt to the validity of the word.
That is how I feel about my book proposal.

The Chronicles of Girl at Play began in April 2001 as a way for me to chronicle my leaving a successful corporate position to become a self-employed writer.
However, in 2005 as my career changed from writer/artist to an entrepreuner that worked with companies and people from Hollywood to New Media, and this blog changed to share more information, ideas, and links that reflected that.
Now, it's a combination of sharing my love of technology, my passion for community and the humaness of the web, creative discoveries and sometimes just plain good old kick in the pants!
A few notes about this blog: I don't accept ads or paid endorsements. I only mention people, places, or things that I actually believe in or have great experience with. And I don't accept comments but I do read every non-anonymous email and I write back if I can. I have these 'rules' in place because I believe in sharing information, supporting a community, and being trusted with your time and judgement.
