The Hip Traveller launched today, a fabulous travel web site with an article from my portfolio in it.
I believe in the cycle of support and not in the worry of competition. I believe if I want to continue to have a career in writing and in art, I must support it with either time, donations, work or purchases.

The Chronicles of Girl at Play began in April 2001 as a way for me to chronicle my leaving a successful corporate position to become a self-employed writer.
However, in 2005 as my career changed from writer/artist to an entrepreuner that worked with companies and people from Hollywood to New Media, and this blog changed to share more information, ideas, and links that reflected that.
Now, it's a combination of sharing my love of technology, my passion for community and the humaness of the web, creative discoveries and sometimes just plain good old kick in the pants!
A few notes about this blog: I don't accept ads or paid endorsements. I only mention people, places, or things that I actually believe in or have great experience with. And I don't accept comments but I do read every non-anonymous email and I write back if I can. I have these 'rules' in place because I believe in sharing information, supporting a community, and being trusted with your time and judgement.
